We took our private boat from Palm Beach, Florida, to OBB. Nice, friendly staff and pleasant grounds. To best define OBB, think of glamping (glamorous camping).

The rooms are well air conditioned, spotless, and spacious. Balconies are nice and the bathrooms are large. Housekeeping was consistent. No complaints at all.

We ate breakfast in our rooms and lunch on our boat. Dinner was enjoyed on our boat some nights and other nights we brought our fish and lobster to the restaurant. They prepared a family style dinner with our fresh catches and their sides. Very accommodating and quick (30 minutes for a party of 10).

Breakfast was okay — eggs and omelettes. Coffee—we brought our own as well as our own Nespresso machine. The hotel store doesn’t open until after 10am in September and the cappuccino machine is found in the store, not the restaurant. We did drink the hotel water and it was fine.

The beach was beautiful to sit for sunrises. We spent hardly any time on the resort grounds but did enjoy the time we spent there. The price is right for the value.

Checkin is slow-both at customs and front desk—check seasonal times for the gas station if you need to gas up your boat.

Beautiful water by boat and lots of fun places to fish and explore by boat. Hope to visit again soon.

We were staying in Freeport. Went up to the West End and stopped by Old Bahama Bay to take a look at the Resort and ended up spending good times at the beach bar with Harold, Erica and the gang. Had such a good time and were so impressed with the Resort now looking to book a vacation next year.

We have stayed at this resort on 2other occasions , we accept the native employees unhelpful attitude as being part of the Bahamas, but what happened to us was inexcusable. I have emailed the customer service director Jacquline but have gotten no response. We had a reservation for July that had to be,over to August, downsized room and while stayed with 3 nights, changed days. I called to confirm that we were all se 8/7 and was told by the resort our dates were confirmed. Imagine my surprise when 4:30pm Sat we got back from a full day fishing to find our belongings in the office and were told we needed to leave. My mistake was believing the changes were made without seeing written proof. We had 6 lbs yellowtail snapper stolen from fridge in our room in addition to some other small items. Speechless at what happened, no offer to find us a room at another spot, we had to run our boat home at dusk..no words

I had the most relaxing time in Grand Bahama! If you need to decompress, Old Bahama Bay is you place! People are friendly and helpful, I could not ask for a more secluded place to spend our Easter.
Thanks for everything and see you guys soon!

We visited the resort restaurant after a once-in-a-lifetime experience swimming with stingrays with West End Ecology Tours. The food takes awhile but was delicious. Views are incredible. Highly recommend!
