We stayed here to attend a concert at Ford Field and this right off I-75. The driveway to the three hotels is not easy to see because it really broken up right off West road. When you get closer to the hotel the road is much better. The outside of the hotel looks nice as does the lobby and breakfast area. We did use the pool but it looked clean and had more room around the pool than I usually see at moderately priced hotels, MKSO review was accurate about the smell in the rooms on the third floor. While Michigan has converted to all non smoking this floor must have been the smoking before. I have to say a smoking room in Pennsylvania before and the smell from this room wasn't as strong but it still had had reminiscence. It wasn't enough to make me sick or ask for another room but I was only staying thee for only 11 hours,.
The breakfast was pretty good except the lack of fruit choices, It had premade omelets, sausage, sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, several types of bread and an automated pancake maker, (never seen that before),
On the same road across i-75 wan a Lowes, Meijers and other shops/restaurants within a 5 minute drive.

Room Tip: If you are a non samoker ask for room that was not a previously amoking room.

Our previous stay here was three years ago and we stayed on the 2nd floor. This time we had a third floor room (ALL Non-Smoking) and it smelled horrific.!!! Also there are no blackout drapes so you only have sheers with the security lighting blaring in causing a restless night. Of course as the sun rose at 6a you can't sleep in anyway.
The staff was pleasant however the lack of drapes/lack of sleep and the stench cause us to rate this establishment as poor.

Got tired on road trip and stopped here for a one night stay. Room was quite small but pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. Free wi-fi. Breakfast bar was lacking though. Usual yummy cinnamon rolls but no fruit. Hot water was empty. Front desk staff was great.

We stayed here two nights its kinda odd in behind a couple of other hotels one looked a little seedy. The staff was nice helpful I was just a-little disappointed in my room the carpet was torn and worn not usual for a holiday inn and my chair was dirty again not usual for this chain the next night I had a different room and it was much better so go figure. Breakfast was good do love the hot cinnamon buns. All in all I'd stay again
