Stopped while in town. Good service of both the royal pie and nut brown ale.
The place is owned by people from Yorkshire so the food is authentic.
The beer section included an ESB.
The mushroom and kale pie was great.
Worth a stop

Wonderful meat pies & good English style pub beer that is brewed on premises. English pub style atmosphere.

The Royal Pies were YUMMY! I would add a side of something if you are really hungry, because they are not very big! My son loved the chicken strips, but that was about the only thing on the menu appealing to kids, so maybe make this a date night restaurant! Staff was super friendly!

A quick stop for lunch on the way back to Chicago yielded a great dining experience. Outstanding meat pies and locally brewed beer made for a delightful meal. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere in SW Michigan

Friends had told me of the miracle that is the Pleasant House Scotch Egg but only recently did I try it for myself. It may be the world's perfect snack. The egg was soft-cooked to the level of metaphysical perfection. And the sausage coating was perfectly fried. You have to try it to believe it. And the honey ale beer was a perfect complement on a lovely summer afternoon.
