We booked the Barn because we wanted to be somewhere which was remote or just outside a village within walking distance. When we arrived after a 10 hour car journey, Sue showed us to the barn and showed us around it. I asked Steve if there were any shops open so we could get some provisions until the morning. Unfortunly everything was shut in the village but Steve gave me some provisions (including a bottle of red wine) to help us through the night which was very helpful. The Barn and other buildings on the site where just right and quite enough to relax and for the kids to play in the pool, the field and with the owners dogs. The Barn was big enough for two families and nice and clean. Wi-Fi was limited to the main house which was not a problem as Sue & Steve were happy for everyone to sit outside on the chairs and tables provided. The local area was lovely and peaceful and the cycle track ran alongside the property field. The only issue I would say was that the local cockerel not knowing what time of day it was . The local supermarket was very well stocked, the local cafes were reasonable priced and the local pizza parlour was to a very good standard. I would recommend the Tapas Bar which is only a two minute walk from the barn, meat cooked on an outdoor wood BBQ and plenty of it. Would love to return to the barn again in the next two years as both families loved the barn, the village, surrounding area and the hosts Sue & Steve. I would recommend the barn and other buildings to anyone requiring a get away from it holiday.
