We (myself, my husband, our 19 month-old daughter and 4 month old son) stayed at the Inn for one night just before the Labor Day holiday. It was recommended to us by an innkeeper at another Saugatuck B&B as a place where he himself would stay, and was noted to be "child friendly." We made last-minute reservations that day (yikes!) and Willa the owner was so gracious and accomodating. Our arrival was very late, so Willa left us a note on the door guiding us to our place; we were so happy to find ourselves in a cozy two-room guestroom (#2) that was both beautifully decorated and immaculate. Willa had kindly left in our room a Pack-n-Play, attachable child bed rail, and a cute child-sized blanket and pillow which my daughter snuggled with immediately. The room had a queen-size bed as well as a twin bed in the second room; both were very comfortable. Other pleasant suprises included soft robes/slippers in the closet and a TV (aren't early-morning cartoons a godsend?) hidden in an antique cabinet. The bath was a retreat in itself, with wide plank wood floors, a shower with great water pressure, and large soft towels. Willa also thoughtfully provides a "white-noise" machine, but we found the inn to be very quiet; we never heard the other guests staying there until we sat next to them at breakfast. Breakfast was fresh and delicious; a perfect, relaxed start to the day. Willa had even thought to set out a highchair for our daughter.

Before checking out we explored the downtown shops which were a stone's throw from the Inn's front door.

Willa is soft-spoken and very sweet; the Inn is her primary home and while there you really do feel that you are visiting a good friend's very comfortable home. She treats you like family in so many little ways. For example, a small detail--when we made the reservations she took the time to make note of both of our children's names as well as ours. We just felt so welcome, I can't say enough good things about our too brief stay. Willa closes her correspondences with you with a word that perfectly describes the gift that she gives you with her beautiful Inn--"peace." Thank you so much.

After four years of enjoying the Candlelight Progressive Christmas Dinner (Great Escape Program?) and our stay at Twin Oaks Inn, we look forward to each coming year. Willa has become part of the gang and adds greatly to the fun we have during the weekend. We have stayed in diferent rooms of the Inn each year and have enjoyed each for their differences as well as the comfort they've offered. The spa was great addition this year. Shopping and the town is just down the street - everything within walking distance! The food, the fun, the Inn and Willa all make for an exceptional time!

stayed here on a best friends weekend away and we had a blast. We stayed in a two room suite which was perfect for both of us. IT is centrally located in town so we could walk around. The breakfast was yummy and Willa was very friendly. My friend had stayed their previously, with her husband and so she suggested it. We'll probably stay their next year on our annual jaunt away from husband/children... :)

This is the best inn in town. Willa is the best. She always goes the extra mile to make your stay special. We are lucky to have her for a friend. Each time we stay it is a wonderful experience
