Went here for the Paul Simon how last night. The car lines to get in were unlike anything I have ever seen. Parking was $15 - lines slow to get in, etc. However having been to Ravinia in Chicago, this place failed expectations. No chairs higher than 12 inches, no coolers, no outside food or water. We had lawn seats so weren't expecting much, but there were so many people that there was no room on the hill, the side views are obstructed by beams, trees, flags, etc. The amphitheater faces the sun. It was just an all around disappointment. Paul Simon was great - but for the ticket costs and the long drive we will never go back to this theater. We will stick to Ravinia where we can get there by train, bring our coolers - and not be forced to pay ridiculous costs for a beer ($9/can). Maybe if you had a smaller name and sat in the theater, or are a college kid, this place is fine for that. But not worth my time and money to go back.
