We had one of the en'suite rooms (104) it was good enough but not more than two star, (toilet seat was the thinnest I have ever seen) the walls are also very thin, we were woken up at 2.30am when the guy in the room next door came in and took a shower plus used the toilet then snored the rest of the night all heard through the wall.
There is also a plastic lined mattress protection sheet on the bed which is not comfortable (we ended up taking it off each night and then refitting it before the maid came in to make up the room).
It's a great location with a 5 minute walk into town, the hotel also had bike hire (but a little expensive at 12€ for a day, 10€ for half a day)
I suppose the bookings are coming in so they feel no need to spend more money on the place. The current owners are really nice people.More
