This was a celebration for the senses. Visually impeccable and taste/flavors almost perfect. We had a 6 course tasting menu, my favorite items were:
- Langoustine carpaccio with caviar
- An Egg
- Fish dish with salmon roe

My least favorite was a meat course (deer). Meat itself was lacking in flavor. Service was appropriate for the type of establishment this is (M star) however we had quite a few misunderstandings due to us not speaking french. They addressed them as soon as they understood the issue (it was about allergy and dietary preferences)

A very high standard of culinary excellence- beautiful dishes - with that rare combination of both visual delight and sensational flavours. Could not fault anything about the food - a wonderful cheese chariot too. Excellent wine selections. The food is absolutely deserving of the 2 Michelin stars - it was better than several 3 star establishments I have eaten in. Wonderful from beginning to end. The service was very pleasant but perhaps lacking just a minor degree of the serious attention and professionalism that may just get this a 3 star rating if they worked on that.

It all started badly. We were placed in an oval table with a banquete around half of it, not conducive to good service. The service was not particularly friendly and kept reaching over the table to serve. The food selection was limited always pigeon. Which we dislike and just a few other choices. They had green asparagus, which I found strange as there is an abundance of white asparagus in the area. When I asked the waiter where I could get white asparagus the next day, he replied in Alsace. The lobster was no better than one can order at Red Lobster, the lamb had a lot of fat. Whe wrote the restaurant weeks before our visit and told the we did not eat oysters yet they presented us with oysters and when we turned down we were offered no substitute. It took forever to clear our dishes. We were so disgusted, we skipped dessert. Stay away. Prices horridly high for the quality of food and service you get.

We ordered a 4 course dinner but we where served much more as we started out with complements from the chef followed by in between dishes to the main courses, so we were asking us selves if we by coincidence had got the 6 course dinner instead. As the wine card was so tremendously big we asked the sommelier for serving a glass of wine of his choice to each dish. The food was so well prepared and delicate that you were newer in doubt that this is a 2 star Michelin restaurant. This restaurant is not cheap but worth all the money as the service, the timing, the preparation, the texture and temperature of all served was 100% at its best. Go there if you can afford it, you will not regret it. We payed only for the 4 dishes and were in no way overcharged by the cost of food nor wine served in a new the glass at each course chosen by the sommelier, which I indeed do respect the restaurant for.
