We went there for dinner with our friends. The restaurant was in an okd building but the inside was quite modern. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who take care of iur every need promptly and with a broad smile. He was very proud of his restaurant and seemed very happy. The food was excellent. My friend ordered a fried escargot appetizer which was prepared wih leeks and young garlic, a real interesting melange of flavours and textures. My wife ordered the foie gras poele as her main course. It was very well prepared coated with sesame and nuts with interesting Japanese flavors. I ordered my steak with foie gras. Felt that the sauce was little overpowering in the salt and flavors, but still very good. The accompanying potatoes were very well prepared.
The desserts were excellent. Very highly recommended!!!

I haven't ate in the restaurant for a long time, as on previous trips it was closed or fully booked.

It is superb, and more than justifies the bib gourmand Michelin rating.

The food is imaginative, and the cooking is excellent, as is the service. The restaurant is pretty and decorated in a relaxing style.

There is a limited children's menu, which my rather fussy 3 and 6 year olds wouldn't eat. But they eat the bread and potato croquettes so it was fine. More adventurous children would enjoy the menu very much.

For us, it is a must do when we are in the area.

One of the most interesting restaurants In Alsace. Quality, inventiveness and value for money. Small and cosy.

We ate here for the second time, knowing that food, presentation and service would be excellent. It was. We were able to get a table for lunch on a Saturday without having made a booking. The staff speak English. One can choose from either a "menu" or a la carte. We did the latter. It was a delightful experience.

We had the set menu at, I think, 31 Euros, which represents great value for this level of dining. We hadn't booked but there was plenty of room in an elegant dining room. We were welcomed and given a delicious two-part amuse bouche, which set the right tone for the evening.
There is some choice at each course, but we both chose the asparagus bavarois to start. Wow! This was rich and delicious, the delicate flavour of the white asparagus bavarois enhanced by some green asparagus and garnishes. Fabulous.
We also plumped for the same main, a duck breast with soy and ginger flavoured noodles. Perfectly cooked duck was enjoyable but perhaps the dish lacked the wow factor of the starter. I finished with a lemon mousse on sable biscuit with chartreuse sorbet - a wonderful light and refreshing end to an excellent meal.
Proficient and imaginative cooking at an unbeatable price - highly recommended.
