stayed there for 3 nights as group tour member.
room spacious with basic facilities e.g. kettle, hair blower and toiletries provided. (hair blower at my room was broken). Clean towel replaced everyday.
Tub, toilet bowl and basin were 'American Standard' and should be a big investment at the opening. Seems no renovation over 20 years, stains on wall and dirt on shower curtain. Window curtain was torn and worn. Black filth lining on the vents of the air-conditioner. No refrigerator at room.
free wifi at lobby and room. Make sure to press the wifi socket tight otherwise you won't have wifi like me for 2 nights.
Silly to believe the hotel's website and bring along swimming suite, - their swimming pool was closed and was extremely dirty. Night club was closed and there was only a massage parlour left.
Free Chinese style breakfast provided and especially good for vegetarians. Only non-veg. food was boiled tea eggs. Still fine if you need something to feed you in the morning.

Service were terrible:
i) requested to replace light bulb at bar table but the service woman said that most of these bulbs were out of order in other room and they were short of the bulbs supply! Of course, she left our room without replacing it.
2) requested for cups after the waitress put down the tea pot, she said,"you can use your bowl for tea!' On another occasion, I have bought a large bottle of juice and requested for some cups, the other waitress opened the cupboard and gave me as many cups as I want.

Don't go there if you have a choice!

We stayed here for a couple of nights in October 2012 so we could visit the 9 twists river. The hotel is pleasant enough, although we were seemingly one of only a few couples staying there who weren't attending a large conference the hotel was hosting. We had arrived at Wuyishan city railway station and had to get a taxi to the resort area, which is about 10 minutes drive through the countryside. This really is Chinese tourist country (we saw no more than a handful of westerners in the 2 days we were there).

Staff on reception had very little English, however by the usual international sign language and a picture book we had we managed to communicate well enough.

Our room was a decent size with en suite. It overlooked the swimming pool area but having seen the state of it from our window we didn't venture anywhere near it. Frustratingly there is no WiFi in the room, but there is in the lobby so you might need to sit downstairs in the evening to get online (unless you have a computer for their LAN).

Buffet breakfast was reasonable with something everyone can eat (not all Chinese "delicacies"),
although we never ate in the restaurant at night.

The resort town area is small with plenty of tea shops etc and all walkable and we walked into and around the park each day too. The area where the 9 twists river bamboo rafts leave is a little far to walk so use one of the busses. And make sure you get a ticket for the bamboo rafts well in advance - we turned up at the ticket office where the rafts leave on day 2 of 2 without a ticket expecting it to be a simple pay and hop on a raft, however the rafts leave at certain times and when we were there, every time for the next two days was taken by the masses of Chinese tourists. The park is lovely to walk around though so our time wasn't completely wasted.

I'd say this hotel is more set up for conferences than tourists, and then Chinese tourists over westerners. Our stay was comfortable though.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I was pleasantly surprised. Being in an area where there are only (and then I mean only) Chinese tourists the staff of the hotel really tries to help you even though they do not speak English. For the first time during our 3 month trip through China, they used some translate app to communicate with us. Worked very well. Room was nice, little small but clean. No wifi but byo computer and you can hook up to the very fast (free) internet (they provide cables if needed).
Breakfast is a Chinese style buffet with lots of choice but be on time, they clear it right away when breakfast time is over.
Location is ok, you can walk to the park (wuyi palace entrance) or take one the many local busses to other entrance points.
