We enjoyed the amazing views, excellent service and friendly staff. The restaurant area has a warm welcoming atmosphere. We received several calls on our way to Mulberry Lane to ensure that we are doing well and to confirm our arrival time. On arrival we were welcomed by the very friendly and helpful receptionist. He walked us to our tent house and ensured that we had everything we needed. The peaceful quiet atmosphere was relaxing and afternoon swim was refreshing. We will definitely visit them again.
What an awesome place embedded in nature - limited cellphone reception and only Wi-Fi signal at the bar/restaurant meant the best peace in a beautiful place. Would definitely go back to Mulberry Lane Suites!
Very noisy with hard music the whole afternoon from the "Shebeen/Restaurant" directly next to log cabin #1. We thought this was a silent Farmstay according to the webpage! The Environment is great, the only reason why I at least rate a 3.
Good people
Heaven is ready people Mulberry lane is one of them the location perfect. Weather perfect. And great staff .it was my 31 birthday weekend i will never ask more for this ..i will recommend it nature lovers
The Mulberry Lane suites is a perfect getaway! From the onset the service received by Mpho was awesome. The suite is perfect, the luxurious silk bedding and drapes a treat for the skin and eyes and the spa bath, the cherry on top. The geyser is fast enough to use it more that once an evening, a bonus on a cold night. The suite is equipped for self-catering but come prepared as the closest proper shop that stocks groceries is in Graskop. The fact that it is this far our of town means utter peace and quiet. No music pumping of nearby establishments, no noisy roads. The only sounds you will hear are the bush babies and the roosters in the morning. If you don't want to cook you can eat at The Deck restaurant. The food is good, not great. I had lasagna for lunch and was not too impressed. It was not bad, just not traditional lasagna rather lasagna with a south African twist. My hubby had the chicken bunny chow and his food was great. For dinner I had a focaccia and again, not great. Hubby had a dagwood and he was more than happy. And if you want the food brought to your suite, no problem. I do regret not trying the traditional bobotie though. The tour of the farm however is a must. We were awestruck with the information we received and looked at the bedding and drapes in the room through different eyes. Ivy was our tour guide and she is a gem. Be sure not to miss it. This place will see us again. It is the ideal breakaway with all the romantic trimmings without breaking the bank.
