They offer both American (ground beef) and mexican style (asada/steak) tacos. Very good Pasole; my favorite dish.

Excellente! We enjoyed our Last Tortas - mine shrimp and my wife's chicken. Our friends enjoyed their salads and tostados too. Friendly and helpful staff.
We took our daughter there because she wanted Mexican and we had heard they had good food. It was good food, service and authentic. They serve you fresh home made tortilla chips and salsa right away. I saw one person say you have to pay a meter. This was not the case for me. There is a parking lot across the street and I have never seen meters there. There are some downtown, but this is in Old Town.
Some pretty decent Mexican food away from home, Los Angeles. It was raining and a nice big bowl of Pasole hit the spot. I also added a chile relleno. It was a lot of food but since it was so tasty, I powered through. I'm glad I got there early because by the time I left, the place was full. The server was very nice. Unfortunately they can't serve beer.
You know me, I like to eat and eat well. Its small, the staff speaks to you like you've known them-been there before, every seat is good, every seat is comfortable. Menu, drinks (no beer, no wine) and chips with salsa. Don't say that, hold on. Food comes out while your reading, gazing up to see what that smell passing by was, wondering why there are so many people and why they look so happy. If they're busy they will accommodate you, they will still speak to you like they know you and they do a darn good job of getting you a place to sit quickly. As though you got there early to visit with family. Unsure and confused maybe feeling like you should hurry (nope) you'll pick something familiar, they'll snap up the menu while looking in your eyes as they head off to type it in. That's when you get to see a brief glance into the kitchen. I'll capitalize it: The Kitchen. Anybody can fix a plate of food but only a few places have The Kitchen. Those aunties and uncles behind those swinging doors are cooking For! You! and they know you are hungry. Time melts away at the first bite, your looking for a couch/sofa/bed at the second. Should you be able to finish your familiar meal that tastes better than you could ever imagine, you understand why we are all there. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner doesn't matter. Suddenly you know why 9am to 9pm makes perfect sense, forgiving no alcohol and plotting out how you can be back there in time for breakfast.
