My friend and I went here after realizing that the Dutch Village thing was just rides, petting zoos, and mini-golf (and it didn't appeal to us). Being in our forties, the costumed Dutch girls suggested we go see the Windmill Gardens. When you're right, you're right lol. You don't think about a street organ or a windmill being that fascinating until you actually see it. We thought it was pretty neat! Of course, this isn't the time of year for tulips (which I didn't initially realize. I had no idea what their lifespan was like and that they wouldn't be there). There wasn't much to see in that regard, but going up in the Windmill was really neat and worthwhile. The gift shop had lots of cool stuff too and I bought more than I thought I would. There were also some areas (in the only building that had a bathroom) that played videos that talked about the windmill. We used that time to sit and cool off as well (it was super hot outside). I would definitely want to take the rest of my family to see this place!
