Downtown Gaylord has one of the nicest ways to start your day that you'd ever want to visit. Diana's Delights has a bright and clean decor that is very pleasant. Then add in exceptionally prepared breakfast choices, and you're all set for a great breakfast. Their sausage gravy is exceptional. The English eggs are an unusual offering, prepared with sour cream and chives, and absolutely delicious. They patty their own sausage patties, and they're great! And above and beyond all of the really good breakfast choices, Diana's has sinfully good cinnamon rolls and other baked goods made in their own kitchen. All in all, an outstanding choice for breakfast.

First went with a friend and we were all very happy with the food and the service. The place is bright and clean. Came back through town a few days later and got off the freeway to have another great lunch!

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from up north. We were a family of 7. Their tables are small tables for two maybe three people. They tried to fit all of us at only three tables but we grabbed another one as we were all smashed together. Nobody likes not having any elbow room to eat. Our waitress apparently had a problem with this and made it known.

The food was very good. The prices are so so. My scramble was 8.99 but my cappuccino was 5 bucks!!! That's outrageous. The quiche which was the special for the day was 13 bucks!!!

What ruined this for me was our waitress. Though she didn't screw up our orders and we had all we needed, her attitude sucked. She clearly was pissed we dared use four tables for seven of us and never bothered to ask if we wanted our checks separated. When we asked about it she rudely informed us they were to busy to do separate checks. Give me a freaking break. What would they have done if we had all been sitting at our own table? Naturally give us our own checks. If you can't keep 4 checks at one table straight, then you're in the wrong industry.

We all sat at our table and tried to decipher her handwriting and separate our checks ourselves and she got impatient and basically told us to leave the table and she would do at the front. There was a single lady waiting after us to pay and I suggested she take care of that lady first so she wasn't waiting forever on our group. The waitress bit my head off and said "NO! I'm just going to get this over with now". Freaking rude. She either needs a new job or to retire. She's ruining this restaurant because no matter how good the food was there are other places with equally good food and better service.

Stopped in Diana's Delights for breakfast yesterday, and was not disappointed. It's very clean, well-lit, service is prompt and the food is excellent. Plus the bacon (thick sliced) and sausages are great.
