We always get pizza and their salads are good too! Great place for a casual dinner with friends or family!

Palermo's is your typical local Italian restaurant, and they do what they do well. I went with family (I live out of town, but they are local) and the staff knew them by name.
I enjoyed a margherita pizza -- it was perfectly done and the crust was delicious.
We are taking turns in our subdivision for our homebound neighbor who recently suffered a stroke. Her special request this week was for Palermo lasagna, win/win!
Always a treat to eat here. Friendly staff, quick service, great family restaurant. Wonderful menu with many choices and specials. If you leave hungry, its your own fault.
There are a lot of choices in Canton, MI these days. But, Palermo's stands out as a reliable `go to' for REALLY good Italian food. The pizza is excellent. But, I don't think it is better than other excellent pizzas. There are several other menu items that stand out even more compared to the dozens of other Italian restaurants my wife/family and I have eaten at since relocating with our job to Mich. from Colorado 23 yrs. ago. And, if you happen to order a side dish of spaghetti... ask for extra spaghetti sauce on the side. There is no additional cost (except perhaps in the tip) and it is simply the best I've ever had anywhere. I would actually pay for their family recipe for their sauce. It is the same sauce used on their chicken parm. The service is good too. My only criticism - and, it is a sincere disappointment - is that awhile ago they dropped the complimentary soft bread sticks, enough for one for each family member. They were fresh oven warm and a reason our kids wanted to go there while taking a family vote on a local dinner night out. We have actually cut back going there from ~7-8x/yr. to 3-4x/yr. for that simple but important (to us) reason. And, their glasses of Italian wine are a little on the small side compared to their competition. But, the service is very good, they take their family business sincerely, they are Catholic christian, and don't worry about the wait in line in the evenings because it moves along at the right pace. Sometimes, because they have become personal friends with so many of their customers, the waitresses chat a bit much, but the staff are happy, professional and seem to have very little turnover. Highly recommend Palermo's if you love Italian food. (remember, request extra pasta meat sauce - there's something special about it...)
**Palermo Mgt., if you happen to read this, PLEASE Bring Back the Complementary Soft Breadsticks... and, secondarily, maybe an adult wine glass serving. And, keep up the otherwise great job of having the best Italian food/staff service in our fine community!
