As a road-warrior in Global Sales I have stated in a lot of 5-star hotels around the World and seen guests from the rodeo to royalty. I stopped at the Country Inn and Suites to use the wifi and send in an expense report, and was graciously welcomed by Andy Etta at the front desk. I explained I would not be checking in, but hoped to use his wifi to send a report to my boss. He said no problem and welcomed me to his Inn like the days of old.
I was given a seat by the fireplace, and started working on my report to my boss. While I wrote my report, I watched Andy welcome other guests, take calls and all with a smile on his face that made every guest feel special. His questions were probing but not invasive. Clearly he was making every effort to see to the needs of his guests, whether they were freshly in from the road or looking for advice on local restaurants and shopping. Most companies would be lucky to have such an Inn-keeper.
I will look for Country Inn and Suites in my future travels
Got to get back on the road now . . .
