This was my first trip to this diner. The super veggie omelet was delicious. Plenty of veggies. Coffee was a little weak for my liking but not bitter. There was only one waitress, she kept up pretty good. Prices were what you would expect. Two of us had all we could eat and coffee for around $20.00 before tip. I would eat here again.

As a local, the Moonlight Diner was always a good place to meet and have a pleasant lunch either with friends or for business. Recently however, the menu has been re-done with higher prices and less for the money. Not a real surprise to see prices go up but substituting potato chips for fries on most items adds insult to injury. Even so, that would no be so bad, but what is unforgivable is the deterioration in the quality of the food.
A friend and I had the misfortune of having lunch at the diner today. We each ordered hamburgers. When the burgers arrived the chips were warm from evidently sitting under a heat lamp, but the burgers were swimming in grease. So much so that there was a small pool of it on the side of my plate that had not been soaked up by the bun. When the waitress came by to ask how our food was the conversation was something like. "How is your meal?", "Greasy", "Yeah but delicious, right?", "No, excessively greasy.", "Oh" and with that she walked away never to be heard from again.

After twenty years of visiting this diner I am finally convinced there are too many other local resturants to waste my time here.

Great place for lunch with a friendly staff and good food
Set up in 50's style decor. They close at three on sundays so get there on time or you miss a great experience

We hit this diner before heading down to Solid Sound. Food was very good. I think they must have been caught off guard with this music festival however, as the wait staff seemed very overwhelmed with the amount of people in for breakfast that day. Otherwise, the food was great!
