In spite of the slow hour and the small size of our order, we were greeted warmly and made to feel very much at home while waiting for our order. The crust on the samosas was excellent, and the filling was good. The chutneys could have used a bit more flavor.

Our meal was healthy and very tastful. Unfortunately, we decided to order a sort of Irish coffee, which was wery disappointing.

A disappointment. Everything was bland - from the samosas to the mint chutney, to the garlic naan (without a hint of garlic), to the malai kofta in an anemic sauce, to the navratan korma. And please, please don't use frozen carrots in your navratan korma! Frozen peas, fine, but you can always get fresh carrots, right? Don't put those rubbery orange frozen slugs in your korma!
To his credit, the owner apologized for the garlic-less garlic naan, and gave us a 5% discount on the meal. But I'd pay an extra 5% for some flavor!

We had two chicken curries. The chef had over cooked chicken breasts and had simply warm pieces of the chicken in a pre made or even bought-in sauce. No effort had been made to marinate the chicken before serving. The ban bread was OK . Sad really because the owner wanted to please. He needs a qualified Indian chef.

My family goes out of their way to drive up to Williamstown for this Indian food. The sauces are all different, all delicious. The herbs and spires are "just right".
