We came to Williamstown to visit the Clarke Institute and stayed there for one night. We had dinner at Hops and were nicely surprised. The decoration is quite modern. Staff was very friendly despite the fact that the place was quite busy. French brasserie type of food with good choice of craft beers.

This restaurant closed during the winter of 2017/2018. It has been replaced by Casa Lina which opened in April of 2018 serving Italian food on the Vines side and tapas on the Hops side.

this was a horrible experience. a total waste of $50.00??? Had a gift certificate or we would have left just like the other 3 couples. Menu had 3 entrees? they said they had cut their menu down? to nothing. very very disappointed. Had been here many years ago and liked it. Save your money and time. Find another place to dine.

H+V is a popular location for both locals and visitors. In the summer, their front patio offers a comfortable place to sit. The restaurant boasts a strong drinks menu. The menu is fairly small and pricey - and changes often, making it hard to know what to expect. Service is generally attentive and helpful.

When you walk into the restaurant the right side has a large bar and pool tables the left has the restaurant.
Our server was nice and helpful but very quick to serve our food.
We had a flat bread with ricotta which wasn’t that great. The salad was wonderful with lots of nuts and a great dressing.
We had a decadent pice of chocolate torte to finish off the meal.
