“Great pet friendly location for a trip to the Cape!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2012

I have been going to the Cape since I was knee high to a grasshopper, so needless to say I know the Cape pretty well. However, travelling with a pet was another story. There are now quite a few locations that accept pets at the Cape, however, either the room prices or pet fees are often steep. So, after searching literally for a whole day, I found the Inn at Swan River. The prices are very reasonable and they accepted pets for a reasonable fee. It was a birthday weekend so we wanted to stay 2 days but did not think paying the daily fee for a 10 lb dog was worth it. When I called to inquire about the fee perhaps being waived for the next night, the lady was very nice and said they could do that if we donated a small fee to the ASPCA when we checked in- very nice of them. As it is off season, when we got there the office was closed but Jamie left the key and other info in our room when we got there. It is so quiet and clean and a great centrally located place to stay. We took off to Provincetown for a wale watch the next day after checking in with Jamie who was pleasant and friendly. We felt comfortable having our dog with us and the room was nicely redone. The inn is in the mid cape and I recommend staying here if you need somewhere to stay while taking off on day trips around the Cape!

Just came back from a few days in Cape Cod. This place was more than adequate for us. We made day trips from this property. On the outside it may have the motel look but the rooms are most comfortable. As it was off-season, Jamie, the innkeeper, graciously upgraded us to an efficiency. This works for us as we like to have breakfast before heading out. The place is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They were busy getting the place ready for the summer season. The pool was in the process of being resurfaced. Jamie and the staff are most pleasant and eager for you to have a wonderful time. Perfect location for day trips.

We stayed here to get away and immediately upon our arrival we felt like family. The manager Jaimie, offered us suggestions and personal assistance for our stay. The next day she had a social with home-cooked food in the lobby. In the rooms she supplied us with snacks, and juices for all kinds of drinks and it made us feel like we were VIP., but later we found out that is how everyone is made to feel about the INN. Will be back for sure because it was IMMACUALTE!

Perfect place to stay on the Cape. West Dennis is right in the middle of everything. The Inn was terrific. Very clean, nicely stocked kitchenette, plenty of towels. The innkeeper was friendly and knowledgable about the area. Many things on the Cape are closed in the winter so being a tourist took some work but it was worth the trouble.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2011

Stayed at the "Inn" over Thanksgiving weekend. Although this is called an inn, it is really an upgraded motel with bedroom on par to a Marriott. There was a flat screen V, ipod dock, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Bed was very comfortable although there were plastic sheets on mattress which made for some interesting sounds. Room was immaculate! Bathroom was as well with a large supply of nice, clean towels. Shower had very little water pressure. Front desk staff was lovely and helpful. This hotel is dog friendly so that was a big plus for us, but at 9 am, you did hear the siren of dogs going out for their morning walks. That didn't bother me though. Very good location with easy access to most Cape activities. Did not use the grounds but the pool area had large grill and was nicely landscaped.
