We randomly came across Jin's and thought it looked like a nice place for dinner. On a Tuesday evening, the bar area was crowded, but we decided to sit at the sushi bar. The waitstaff was very attentive and immediatly served us some water and made suggestions from the menu. The sushi chef prepared us sashimi tidbit as complimentary ($13.95 value) which was yellowtail, tuna, salmon, roe and cucumber in a soy sauce. It was delicious!!!! My husband ordered a hot and sour soup ($3.95) and he stated it was pretty typical of a hot and sour soup. I started with Sizzling Rice with Chicken Soup ($5.50) which was very delicious. The slightly salty broth had a fair amount of chicken breast with some puffed rice, carrots, mushrooms and bok choy. This soup portion was quite large for a bowl. For our main courses, I ordered Steamed Chicken with Mixed Vegetables ($11.95), which was quite tasty, even on its own. It was served with a ginger soy sauce on the side which was very flavorful and really added to the dish. My husband ordered the Maki Combo ($19.95), which was California Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki and Crazy Maki. It was quite a large portion and well worth the price. The seafood was very fresh tasting and the rolls were tasty. At the end of our meal, the wet wipe was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the chocolate fortune cookies!
