We had room 27, it has a private balcony facing the ocean. The hotel was well taken care of with friendly staff and amenities. Only 1 restaurant in easywalking distance, but lots on highway 28, in an easy 5 min drive. There was a few wild rabbits that came out to eat the well watered lawn by our room. (entertainment) great quiet location even though it was labor day weekend, we could relax and sleep undisturbed, with justthe sound of the surf.

Second year staying at the Surfcomber and we weren't disappointed. Stayed in Room 32 , top floor facing the beach, with it's own balcony. The rooms are clean and spacious and housekeeping did a great job. The grounds are well kept. Looks like a new fence around the pool. Walk to their own beach area. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.
Quiet at night . We'll be back next year !

We recently stayed here for 6 nights just after Hurricane Irene, and the grounds were wonderful - they had cleaned up quickly after the storm.
Our room overlooked the ocean and it was wonderful to keep the windows open at night to hear the surf. We had a large room with two very comfortable queen beds and a small kitchen. The place was spotless, although the kitchen could use a bit of updating, including a microwave.
The kids loved the pool, which is heated, and the beach is very calm - great for even the youngest of kids. Location of the hotel was central to everything - about an 1 1/4 hours to Provincetown, 25 minutes to Chatham and 15 minutes to Hyannis. There is a local Shaw's supermarket for groceries and many restaurants and activities nearby.
We would definitely stay here again and found out that many other people here return quite often. Very friendly staff, too!

Room Tip: Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 are larger and directly on the ocean.

We had a family reunion on the Cape with 58 of us attending from all over country and Canada. Many of us stayed here and enjoyed every minute of it. It's a very clean place with a happy, conscientious staff. We had a room with a full kitchen which came in handy with the young grandchildren who eat/snack constantly. I highly recommend this hotel, right on the ocean with a beautiful pool, to anyone looking to visit Cape Cod.

Great spot on the ocean, rooms are very clean, although a little dated. But you are here for the water and surroundings. Nice to be beside the beach, also has a nice pool, looks like they just replaced the pool fence and deck, looks very professional. Easy drive to lots of restaurants, Would absolutely recommend this place. No elevator, walk to second floor.
