Great room, quiet atmosphere, fabuluos hosts, and the best breakfast I have ever encountered at a B&B--and I have stayed at top B&B resorts in Cambria, Pacific Grove, and Mendocino on the West Coast. Katherine and Don, the innkeepers, simply deliver the best welcome I have ever had.

We stayed at the Isaiah Jones Homestead during our honeymoon in August 2001 and again on our tenth anniversary in July 2011. Each visit exceeded our expectations. The B & B has new owners since our fist stay. Many tasteful updates have taken place over the years. The breakfasts were delicious!

Room Tip: We stayed in the carriage house both visits and loved the extra privacy.

We recently spent New Year’s Eve at the Isaiah Jones Homestead (our 3rd year). What a wonderful experience! Catherine and Donny were ideal hosts, gracious as ever. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The guest living room was great for reading and enjoying quiet music and holiday décor. Complimentary beverages & snacks (coffee, tea, cookies, port and sherry) were available at all times and added to a relaxing mood. The house was spotless.

We were able to get our favorite room, the Dr. Samuel Beale and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the alcove, with two high-back chairs and a table, was particularly nice for some in-room relaxation.

Breakfasts were delicious, with freshly baked pastries, wonderful fruit (the grilled pineapple was a hit) and great entrees (super, light pancakes, creative omelets, breakfast meats).

New Year’s Eve dinner was a gourmet feast, 5 wonderful courses complemented by champagne and wine. Every part was cooked to perfection and graciously served. We availed ourselves of the opportunity to share a table with 4 other guests for the dinner and conversation and laughter filled the evening.

For us, a wonderful way to usher in the New Year – well worth the trip from PA.

This B&B is beautiful. The owners and inn keepers don't bug you, but are available if needed. The location turned out to be wonderful. Sandwich is a quiet area, and so relaxing just walking around the community.
Our room was very comfortable.
This site doesn't allow me to list a visit from 2006 with the drop down list, but hope you will post this review.

This was our second visit to the Isaiah Jones Homestead in Sandwich Massachusetts and as equally wonderful and relaxing as the first. Donnie and Katherine maintain a high level of energy to make sure their guests have everything they need. Although not everyone staying at the Inn chose to have NY Eve dinner there, the six of us that did could not have asked for a more perfect and wonderful way to end the year. We were seated together, rather than at individual tables for two, and had a marvelous evening. It was nice to see other repeat guests and meet those there for the first time. Donnie knows just when to interject with his unique sense of humor and Katherine's cooking is beyond delicious. The service and attention to detail is outstanding and it is always enjoyable to have Donnie and Katherine sit and share in the conversation ---- thank you both for another great stay.

Room Tip: The two Carriage House suites are set apart from the main house and are more spacious. Small refrigerator outside of the rooms provides place to keep beverages and snacks cold. Coffee and a also right outside your door.
