Luckily we stayed close by to this state park as there is a chargeable car park otherwise. We enjoyed wandering the varying pathways and seeing the stunning ocean views. The quarry does not allow swimming and we never saw anyone abusing this. However it would be lovely if you could! I would suggest you take the path to the right labelled ocean as the rocks are much more accessible and you can wander for quite a distance and view rockport. Loads of dragon flies to view and seagulls. Peaceful place.

Spent about two hours here on a Friday morning/afternoon. Could definitely have spent more time, but unfortunately didn't bring a lunch. Great place to sit and soak up the sun, watch the waves, have a picnic, climb some rocks...would definitely recommend. Parking was 5$ for in-state vehicles - no attendant, just a kiosk (which was nice). Make sure to wear good shoes if you plan on going on the rocks. The path around the quarry itself is gravel/dirt, but if you go down to the ocean it's all rocks.

This is a nice peaceful area to take a picnic or do some sunning, but there is no beach. $10 parking fee for non-residents. It's a bit of a hike down to the ocean from the parking lot, but definitely worth it.

Beautiful park - with gorgeous views of Ipswich Bay. well maintained, marked and well labeled. Good pair of walking shoes recommended - paths in good shape but one may want to climb over the rocks.

A great place to walk and enjoy the scenery. Watch out for the poison ivy though. The trails are narrow and the ivy is at ankle level and hard to see. Hopefully we will not break out in a rash. they need to remove the ivy or widen the paths.
