Beautiful park - with gorgeous views of Ipswich Bay. well maintained, marked and well labeled. Good pair of walking shoes recommended - paths in good shape but one may want to climb over the rocks.

A great place to walk and enjoy the scenery. Watch out for the poison ivy though. The trails are narrow and the ivy is at ankle level and hard to see. Hopefully we will not break out in a rash. they need to remove the ivy or widen the paths.

20+ years a of visiting the North shore and Rockport and I managed to over look this fabulous state park. It is a beautiful hike around an old quarry that is right next to the ocean. Kept kids and adults interested. A good ocean breeze on a hot day and lots of picture worthy sites.

We enjoyed our morning stroll in this beautiful state park. Parking was $5 for MA residence and $6 non-residence. Lot was full and therefore closed by 10:30 AM on this warm sunny Sunday morning.

Trails were well marked and easy to navigate. We walked down to the tide pools where good foot wear and steady footing is a must to avoid injury. Bathrooms were available. Bring water, insect repellent and snacks.

This is a nice quiet place to go to relax and enjoy a unique stone quarry and take in the ocean front view. Very peaceful spot
