We like to eat at Paul & Elizabeth’s when visiting our daughter and her family. They have an extensive menu with a lot of interesting choices. The service has always been great. The portions are generous especially the ramen type dishes. It is located in Thornes Marketplace which has a lot of fun store to roam.

Hadn't been here in years and had high Hope's. I will day the lunch menu seemed both broad and affordable. One of us ordered fish with rice and vegetables. It was cooked exactly right, though a bit bland. The other dish was fish chowder, served with a salad and whole wheat roll. The salads were fresh and the roll fresh. But the chowder was too full of roux and really tasteless. Surely no fish broth was used. Saving grace was, without asking for it, our waiter comped the fish chowder meal. Good service. Busy atmosphere but the food simply missed a "delicious" factor unfortunately.

In fact even better, because the woman serving us was super friendly. 2 of us had fish and loved it! I had the cod and it was the best piece of cod I have had in a long time-perfectly cooked! 2 others had vegetarian dishes and they were very pleased. Having just moved from VT, we love the local food being highlighted. Will be visiting again.

We are regulars to Paul & Elizabeth's. We go when we don't want to cook and want clean, tasty food, prepared well and served on time, with an unabashed smile. What do you want from a restaurant? Enjoy!

read great reviews and ended up disappointed. This cavernous restaurant is great for large families with noisy kids or for those who like to shout while eating. we struggled to have any kind of conversation. Wine list very limited and food - though plentiful and moderately priced, was not great. Tempura - too heavy on the taste of the breading. Couldn't tell which vegetable it was. And the risotto cakes - tasted like fried glue. I'll skip this place next time.
