Once again I bought traditional spring rolls to go as the main part of my supper and really enjoyed them. About five good sized whole shrimp, with no parts of shell at all, are the main protein. The combination of pieces of thin rice "vermicelli", shredded carrots and lettuce, with mint is very tasty indeed. The rolls are wrapped in soft rice paper and are very different from deep fried egg rolls elsewhere. They're meant to be eaten cold. The peanut sauce for dipping. the rolls in or sprinkling on them after cutting them up probably contains soy sauce and is a bit salty but not excessively so. A great light supper, especially in hot weather. Very satisfying and highly recommended.
