When in Marlborough a great place to have lunch in downtown The Vin Bin Cafe, Awesome sandwiches and soups in a nice old style atmosphere (former fire station)

If you are looking for a new adventure with Cheese, then Amanda is the Queen! She will know how to surprise you, make you taste a variety of products from locations as local as Vermont and as remote as Denmark for instance. And if you mention that you like a particular cheese but she does not have it in store, she will go the extra mile and do her best to bring it to VinBin, provided she has not succeeded into redirecting your craving toward another cheese. Let’s be fair. Team members at VinBin Cafe are all nice and knowledgeable, but just not as much as Amanda when it comes to the Cheese section.

I work in Marlborough but not from the area. For work I was tasked with putting together welcome baskets and needed some unique gifts for clients. Gourmet packaged goodies from caramel popcorn to pretzels with dipping sauces, chocolate, wine and craft beer.

While cashing out looking at all the cafe options I made a note to myself to come back and try a sandwich/panini. I noticed clam chowder which is a favorite of mine. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and offer a sample of chowder with the bacon and scallions. Oh my...wicked good!! So....I bought a quart to bring home for dinner.

Everyone was very friendly and I'm looking forward to my next trip!

Stopped in for a quick lunch with our dog today. They were able to accommodate us on the outdoor patio. The staff was so kind and thoughtful. They brought a water bowl and chicken strips for our dog- he was in heaven!! We had the chicken ridiculous sandwiches.. delightful.

Thank you for a wonderful lunch!!

The Vin Bin makes great sandwiches and you can try all kinds of cheeses and wines. The sandwichs are great - Tuna and bacon delish! all made to order and the staff is very friendly. Great place to get a nice hostess gift.
