Our son and DIL arraigned a weekend getaway for us for my birthday, so we really were not sure what to expect. We were more than pleasantly surprised at our wonderful accommodations and the outstanding service we found. Two young men, Constantine and Paul, seemed to be everywhere all the time. They were so accommodating, helpful and just downright nice, we felt like we were being pampered! They made us feel like their hearts were truly into making the Inn a special place. Our room was lovely with wonderful views of the mountains, spotlessly clean, nicely appointed. It did have a little trouble maintaining a comfortable temperature, but it sounds like that is on the agenda for upcoming improvements. The common areas are grand and comfortable at the same time, with lots of great books, fireplaces, furnishings and nice wines. They truly invite you to sit a bit. The meals were all wonderful. Diner was not being served on Friday night so we went to a place nearby that was highly rated and recommended, but after diner at Kemble on Saturday night, I would not bother going anywhere else to eat if you had the choice.
The owner, Scott, has done a very tasteful job of renovations. He has retained the old charm and beauty of this mansion and at the same time, is updating all amenities so it is really comfortable. I really hope we have a chance to return to Kemble Inn in the future.

Room Tip: Room 203 will be fixed by summer 2012, but has some heat problems right now. Beautiful room, however.

After setting out to book a weekend in the Berkshires for President' Day, we stumbled upon The Kemble Inn after a friend recommended the recent NYTimes article on winter in the berkshires. Upon checking out the inn's website, we decided to give it a try over our other choices. We booked the Valentine's Day special which included one dinner plus a cheese plate and prosecco in our room upon arrival. These were all nice touches and the dinner surpassed all expectations we had of a dinner at our little inn. The breakfast included with the stay has a pretty vast menu and was perfectly cooked to order each morning. Most of the service provided over the weekend was by Paul and we could not believe how accomodating, helpful and nice he was and how much he handles around the inn! The service was amazing, the inn very quaint and pretty, and I can definitely appreciate the updates such as our room having a new bathroom. I can say I'm always hesitant to stay somewhere older for fear of it being dirty or rundown and this was not the case. In fact, we understand that there are more renovations on the way and this can only perfect this as the perfect inn for a weekend getaway. This is also a pefect location for trips to any sights and restaurants within Lenox and Stockbridge and not too far from Great Barrington. I hope to be back this Summer! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed at the Kemble Inn last weekend. Our room was immaculate and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The inn is extremely warm and inviting. The staff was very attentive and welcoming; Paul was especially sweet and helpful. Another of the young men, Constantine, was particularly attentive. He gave great recommendations about what to do in Lenox and cooked us a delicious breakfast. Our weekend was all the more enjoyable due to the dedicated staff and lovely accommodations. My husband and I can't wait to return for our next trip! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Very clean wonderful inn. Great room at a great price. Paul was helpful and ultra prompt. We had a solid breakfast everyday, our stay included one dinner, which was terrific. We certainly are considering another stay in the summer.

Room Tip: We were in one of the worst rooms and it was great. All the rooms are great check their website.

My friends and I stayed at the Kemble Inn this fall to get away from the hustle and bustle of Fairfield county. We are a crazy loud group of realtors that sell over 70 million a year. The staff was very kind and offered the private dining room for our use to have conference calls and a place to set up our laptops. During cocktail hour we had several amazing bottles of wine (very impressive for a small inn) and watch the outstanding sunset off the back veranda. It was heaven. The rooms were decorated nicely. Breakfast was delicious! The coffee was perfect! Evan, a member of the staff was delightful and so helpful. We will be back as soon as we can find the time!
