We made a reservation based on a recommendation from some friends whom we always trust because they are foodies too. I checked the reviews which were quite varied before leaving. We also never judge a place based on how busy it is or is not because some people go to certain restaurants because they are cheap rather than spend a few extra dollars for quality. We were happy with the 2 for $20 lobsters you must preorder. We ordered the bisque and clam chowder (more potato than clams) because it was highly recommended on trip advisor and they proved delicious. We ordered a couple of vegetable sides because the lobsters come plain...the cole slaw was delicious - the beans were okay. They do bring out warm rolls. Always appreciate when a place warms up the bread (particularly on such a frigid night)...the bread itself was okay. Waitress recommended the homemade cheesecake which we ordered a la mode. It was light and delicious. The service was close to perfection. We will go again.
