This place is so Awesome! I've stayed in a lot of hotels, bed & breakfasts, etc. but this place is the best in Cape Cod(I think: location, historical context, service). In terms of building charm, it is beautifully kept by the inn keeper and his wife. It is an original Victorian built in1860, with a wrap around porch. It looks a bit like the Anne of Green Gables house. It is super clean, breakfast is served in the formal dining room, right off the parlor. The layout is original, the mill work is treat.
The location is ideal, in the heart of Harwich Port town (Ember restaurant is down the block) off the main road, on a quiet residential street. You feel like a true local. I was amazed there was availability on July 4th with no minimum stay required, when most places around there charge $500 per night with a minimum stay of 4 nights. I think it must be a well- kept secret.
