CapeWind Waterfront Resort

We stayed at CapeWind Waterfront Resort on our recent trip to Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. The hotel was wonderfully pet friendly and made our golden retriever and us feel right at home. It's not fancy but very homey with a beautiful view of the lake. We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the Woods Hole Ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The owners are on site in case of a problem and are always willing to answer questions or help out. The staff was extremely helpful with anything that you needed, including an extra suitcase stand. Chairs and tables along with a small patio are provided if you want to have coffee outside and enjoy the view.

Room Tip: When we were there the whole hotel was very quiet even though there was a dog show in the area (we d...

What an unexpected and absolute gem, convenient to all the local attractions; and located in the middle of Falmouth.
At the end of the long tree lined driveway, you enter what can only be described as a `park like setting`, surrounded by large, spotlessly clean and well appointed rooms each with an unobstructed view of the waterfront.
The other big attraction of Cape Winds, is the genuine welcome and assistance given by the owners,--- you immediately feel relaxed and at home.
Cape Winds wonderful surroundings and pet friendly atmosphere has to make it the preferred place to stay while in the Falmouth area, and we can`t recommend it highly enough.

Just returned from a night stay and were extremely pleased. The grounds and view of the water were wonderful, but what really impressed us the most was the friendliness of the owners not only to us but our golden retrievers. The setting made it so peaceful. We will definitely return!

We had the great good fortune to be staying at CapeWind during Hurrican Irene. Yes, the rooms are delightfully decorated, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, but the real winners are the owners. They were so thoughtful and caring and concerned for all their guests, offering to venture out into the somewhat scary world in our place for things we thought we might need. They patrolled the grounds (which are lovely) to make sure nothing of harm had appeared. Genuine people, and you bet we'll be back.

We stayed at this property in August 2010 and will be returning again this year. While the property is very nice and the location ideal, I am most impressed by CapeWind's customer service as our plans unexpectantly changed and truly appreciate the staff's willingness to work with us on a contingency plan.

As most are aware, the Cape is jammed during the summer and finding a hotel that truly appreciates the customer is rare...this one certainly does!
