Purchased a $50 restaurant.com certificate for use with a $100 dinner with family. Forgot to present this at beginning of meal...my mistake. Meal was just o.k...nothing special. Waitress told us they no longer accept these coupons. Manager/owner came by to let us know there was a sign posted about this --- but it was on back of door which was secured such that sign was not visible. She finally agreed, begrudgingly, to give us $25 for the certificate - which was what we had paid for it. I told her we wouldn't come back to the restaurant, but she didn't seem to care. Noted on the menu that it was cash only - rather unusual for a dining establishment of this type in this area. Waitress then returned with the revised receipt....after deducting the $25 and adding a 20% tip....apparently because they accepted the certificate. Just very poor customer relations.
