Been travelling to this timeshare owned hotel for years because our friends are owners there. It is one of the nicest places to stay in the area but it has lost its appeal due to dirty seaweed laden beach. We still choose to stay here due to ample space, kitchen and great kids activities. Hubby also likes to fish from the jetty which also has gotten pretty pathetic over the years. If they combed their beachfront the place would be great!

Room Tip: First floor rooms have sliding glass door out to patio.

We booked 2 bedroom unit for our family with 2 toddlers for the last week of september.

DENNIS PORT AREA:
Nothing too exciting, very quite laid back kind of town.
There's a Scargo Tower in Dennis, about 10min drive from dennis port, and it's a free small tower with a nice view of the lake. It was worth visiting if you're in the area.

CHECKING IN:
It didn't feel professional enough to me. I had to wait couple of minutes just for somebody to show up at the counter. There was nobody before me or after me but it took awhile to check in. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't pleasant enough, didn't get any welcoming kind of greeting.

UNIT:
Very clean overall, tastefully decorated.
This 2 bedroom unit should be good for 6 people, but whoever sleeps in the livingroom
wouldn't be happy because sofabed was just too old and dirty, and you're basically sleeping in the kitchen.

KITCHEN/LIVING ROOM:
There are only couple of 2bedroom units at this resort, seemed like they remodeled an old motel. We like book for 2bedroom units on vacations but I was surprised that it didn't have a real kitchen/dining area. It was more like sharing one space with the living room and Kitchen. Kitchen was very small, with smaller refrigerator and smaller dish washer. We looked forward to cook some local seafoods at the resort, but wasn't so comfortable cooking because of the tiny space. TV in the living was awkwardly positioned on top of the fake electric fire place, right next to the Dining table.

BEDROOMS:
Master bedroom with a king bed, and two twin beds for the other room.
Bedrooms were nice. tastefully decorated but old beds weren't so comfortable. Wasn't so impressed with the linens either. They all have small, old bulky TVs.

BATHROOMS:
Two bathrooms, and no complains. It was just right. Felt like they had a shorter tub but it was clean.

BALCONY:
Balcony was nice and it's the only place with an ocean view.
We all hated the clear glass window. It looked like some kind of old system and it was just too hard to open and close them. windows weren't tight enough. I wonder how cold it'll get during winter.

RESORT GROUNDS:
It was OK. They have couple of grill stations but only one of them worked.
Those grill stations were really old and rusty too! We wanted to use the one near our unit
but it didn't work so we called the maintenance. He end up throwing out the one that was there, and brought something else from somewhere with no working ignite button. He used a match to lit up the fire. If you plan on grilling,, forget about it or call before you go although front desk think all of them are working.

POOL:
The only nice thing about the pool is that it's heated.
Again, it was an old pool area, nothing impressive. No sauna, only one small hot whirlpool.
We thought it was very inconvenient that there's no direct access to the pool from your unit area and that there's no shower station.

BEACH:
I don't know if it was the time of year (end of september) but beach was very very disappointing. Water seems to be nice,, but shores were ALL COVERED WITH GREEN YUCKY STUFF. It was just toooo much of those green things,,,,, it was a BIG turn off.
Honestly, I haven't seen that kind of dirty beach in years. BIG disappointment.

OVERALL:
It wasn't bad,, but it wasn't good enough to go back.
Think of it as an old motel converted into a resort. The whole place has the old-style access to everything. Consider that everything is outdoor once you walk out of your unit.
It might be ok for summer time if the beaches are cleaner.

Room Tip: This resort is shaped as l__l. you'll only get the nice ocean view when you're on the front...

This cute condo resort is right on the water. The location cannot be beat. The condo we stayed in was spacious for two people - smallish bedroom, big living room area, nice big kitchen table, full-stocked half kitchen (stove top, microwave, full fridge/freezer, dish washer, tons of plates, cutlery, pots and pans, etc...). The resort has a great indoor/outdoor pool and a hot tub. There is a basement fitness room with about 10 machines - not fancy, but it worked for us! All together a very nice getaway.

Just got back from our week long stay at the resort. I was worried since we have used Interval International to trade from our home resort previously and the accomodations were much less than what we are used to. This was a pleasant suprise. Although not nearly as refined as our home resort in Orlando, the resort was clean and very family friendly. Our unit opened up in the rear to a large courtyard with daily activiites for kids of all ages. There were many families out there cooking, playing and having fun. I never saw my daughter asking to go out and play so often in my life.

The rooms (1 bedroom)were small but ample for a small family. It was clean except for the couch cushions which were pretty gross. The pull out couch looked somwhat uncomfortable but my 8 year old was more than happy. The pools both inside and out were nothing more than a small square but that was all we really needed. The private beach was just a 50 foot walk over the sand dunes and consistant with any other Cape Cod beach.

The people in the lobby were generally helpful and responded to all requests. Unfortunately the A/C in our unit was not exactly blowing out cold air and was told it was at the max, it just was not strong enough to cut the humidity consistant with being directly on the beach.

Overall I would say it was a nice experience and would consider returning for future visits. Like I said it was very family oriented and felt like we were in our own neighborhood. Everyone kept personal items on their decks and no worries on theft. The local area was very quaint and had access to some fun day adventures. I personally suggest a day trip to Heritage garde and museums(Sandwich) and of course Provicnetown. both within an hour drive.

We just came back from a three night get away at the Edgewater. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. They are equipped with a small kitchen that was just the right size. After all who is going to cook a four course meal while away for a couple of days.

We had some minor issues with maintenance. The window lock was broken upon arrival. They did repair it but it became clear why the window next to the door was broken as we soon discovered that each day after house keeping came our keys needed to be rekeyed so we could get in again.

The other pet peeve I had was that we were led to believe we were right on the water. The unit was nice and cute bit not exactly on the water as told. We were in 715 which is across the street from the main building. Not a long walk to anything just not what we were expecting. It still worked out ok as we soon discovered that there were a lot of little ones at the main building. Nothing against the young kids just a bit past that in life now. We are more in the high school/college years.

The few minor issues we had were some minor
