For a pub, this is a great place to eat. Fresh baked Pretzels are AWESOME. Share them or you won't finish the meal. Food is really good, priced right and the service is above par. Certainly not a quiet place, but a fun environment whether at the bar or at a table/booth.

This restaurant has been recently renovated. The bar has been enlarged. A lot of the menu is spicy, but I have had a decent meal there . The price is good and the service is friendly and good.

Agree with other reviews that the remodel does not lend itself to a quiet dinning environment i.e. televisions everywhere without escape. We are former August/Septeber local regulars, now occassional patrons.

Menu and food are okay, basic and you can't go wrong for something of edible interest. Quality seems to be hit or miss with exception of the clam chowder and chili.

Service again is hit or miss. Sloppy dress of waitstaff seems deriguer.

Dinning room table top varnishes are worn-away to bare wood on many of the tables . . . unhygenic, unappealing to look at or touch. It would be huge improvement if management refinishes the table tops or cover them with table clothes or low-cost brown kraft paper for each turn of the table.

Recommendation: Probably not consistent with the current business vision, my recommendation is to put the wall back up between the dinning room and bar; remove the televisions from the dinning room; rework the menu to less items and focus on consistent quality of same, waitstaff to wear uniform modest attire eliminating sloppy appearance.

Went here for dinner. Meals were quite pricy. It was me and my Mother. We were very pleased with the quality of the meal. Just a little spiked in price.
