I love Diners, I seek them out when I travel and even have a friend who plans all her trips around diners. Nautilus Diner did not disappoint. It had that total 50's, shiny, retro vibe. The building itself is just beautiful, and the food is really good with all the regulars and some tasty extras. I was there for brunch and and was excited to get exactly what I wanted in my build your own omelette which was big enough to feed three people. They have a full bar, but what I really wanted, and couldn't eat after that massive amount of eggs and home fries, was dessert. You are confronted and allured by the beautiful glass case with mammoth desserts of every color, variety and flavor. They were more stunning then a case full of jewelry. I will definitely go back to have some of that orange cake next time. Good coffee, comfy booths and inexpensive prices -with a side of George Jetson - what more can you ask for in life.
