I traveled to Baltimore in May with my parents and We enjoyed our stay. I met the General Manager when checking in and he welcomed us to Baltimore. The free shuttle brought us to the light rail a number of times and even picked us up at 1 am after the Orioles game. Thanks goodness for that! The Shuttle driver gave us great tip to see around the city and he talked to us quiet a bit for being so late at night. Thank you Mr. Chandler and We will return!

nicholaspaulsmith,

I am thrilled that you and your family were able to enjoy yourselves during your stay. Shuttle service to the Light Rail Station is a great convenience for our guests who are looking to go into the Inner Harbor area without having to worry about parking and driving in the traffic. Hope you are able to come back for a ballgame or just to enjoy Baltimore in the future. Thanks for your note and kind words. Chuck Chandler

Have stayed at the hotel for a number of different business events in recent years. The rooms are suites with a separate bedroom and sitting room, mini-fridge/sink/coffee-maker/microwave, and bathroom. Two flatscreen TVs. Very well-appointed and clean. The front desk staff seems to have a lot of turnover and is pretty clueless, but the back-office folks and banquet staff has been there for years and are very helpful & knowledgeable.

Nice pool and gym, although I've never been able to use them. The central atrium design can be a bit noisy if there is an event going on in the hotel, but also makes for an airy and bright environment. There is a nice business center with computer access, although wifi access is not free ($9.95 per day). A number of different-sized conference rooms and meeting spaces are available for events, training sessions, small trade shows/job fairs. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but you do get a free, cooked-to-order breakfast!

An older property that's not as bright and shiny as some of its competition, but well-maintained and with a unique layout in the BWI Airport area. We'll be back!

stevekaw,

Thanks so much for the kind words you have shared about the hotel. We are undoubtedly unique to the Baltimore and BWI area with our Atrium and other value added amenities. Also, thanks for you comments about the Banquet Staff. We are very fortunate to have several of the team members that have been here for 14 + years. We have recently been able to stabilize the front desk staff and are continuing to work with them and the Bellmen/Drivers to improve their local knowledge. Thanks for staying with us, we appreciate your patronage. Chuck Chandler

stay was good. Free shuttle to and from airport. hotel staff was friendly and helpful. room was nice. tv in the bedroom and living room. bed very comfortable. the gym was complete and clean; you can get in a great workout. my only issue was the convertible bed couch sheet was stained, and that was a total turn off. three of us had to squeeze into a king size bed. wasn't going near the sleeper sofa after that. i still would stay again, overall we did enjoy our stay. one recommendation don't miss the fabulous free breakfast they serve.

confidentwomen,

Thanks for taking the time to respond and offer feedback. I am thrilled that so many aspects of your stay were positive! Unfortunately, it concerns me that the bedding did not seem to be clean on the pull out sofa. I can understand how that would be diconcerting to you. We would have been glad to move you all to another room, or address it at the time with clean bedding. We try and have safeguards in place that prevent events like this from happening. I have asked the Housekeeping staff to be more vigilant to make sure others are not experiencing similar challenges. When your travels bring you back, I am certain your experiences will be similar without the bedding issues. Thanks for staying with us. Chuck Chandler

We recently stayed at the Embassey Suites BWI in room 711. This was our first stay in an Embassey and we were not disappointed. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night as we were cruising on Saturday morning. The grounds and property were very well kept and the room was spotless. The two room suite is quite roomy with all of the amenities one could possibly need. You could not beat the price, especially when you enter in the cost of the breakfast buffet. The buffet is a little more than the usual breakfast, including made to order omelets, meats, cereals, muffins and danish. I had a little problem getting used to the toaster, but once I mastered that, everything was great. We did not make it to the manager's reception, so cannot comment on that.

All of the staff that we encountered were friendly, professional and quick to assist. The hotel, itself, is very nicely decorated. It is conveniently located, but far enough away from the inner city and added traffic. We were close enough to the Inner Harbor, only minutes away. We do not get to Baltimore very often, but after staying at this Embassey Suites, I would definitely try their other properties in the future.

Room Tip: The building is circular, surrounding the atrium. The lower and higher number rooms are closest to the elevators. We were in 711 and were just steps from the elevator.

ladyblue9,

Thanks for choosing to stay with us while you were cruising! I truely appreciate your kind words regarding the various aspects of your stay. The Embassy Suites Brand has some tremendous value added offerings and sounds like you were able to enjoy all of them but the Managers Reception. Thanks too for your kind words regarding the team. We are working very hard on encouraging our team members to understand what are guests experience while staying with us. Experiences like yours are great lessons to use for encouragement. Please look to stay at Embassy Suites properties in your other travels. I am sure you will have similar experiences. Thanks! Chuck Chandler
