We loved our little home away from home. It was raining the day we were there and, though the room was small, it was so cozy . The roof has been raised and the beams in the bedroom and all the bathroom was done in natural wood so did not feel small. Nice touches like metal dragonfly for hanging towels, nice products for bathing. The best of all was an incredible breakfast offerings, and all very tasty, including raspberry soufflé, blueberry crepes, a variety of muffins, cheesy potato casserole, eggs, bacon, juice, coffee.Amazing! Would stay again in a minute!

Wiscasset Woods is quaint, comfortable and very accommodating of pets. There's a nice trail behind the hotel for walks. The room had been renovated and was very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with many homemade items. We'll stay again.

Room Tip: WE loved room 11 with its easy access to the trail.

My wife and I recently stayed for two nights and we would certainly stay here again. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and far better than the usual hotel breakfast since everything is made from scratch and it changes daily.

Room Tip: We had a room on the second floor of the hotel. The hotel is a little further away from the Route 1 so there was very little traffic noise.

Made a trip to Wiscasset, Maine for a fund raiser auction. We were greeted by Eric and he immediately made us feel at home.
The room was amazing finished inside with notty pine and very clean.
Bed was very comfortable and all amenities were excellent.
The morning of our checkout we went to the breakfast buffet which was included with our room charges. The food was excellent and home cooked by Sondra and a young lady that we assumed was their daughter. Buffet was kept well stocked and checked on frequently to assure that no one had to wait for any of the offerings.
I would highly recommend this motel to any travelers visiting this area.

Wiscasset Woods Lodge has been our mainstay in Maine for nearly 20 years. New owners Sondra and Eric continue the tradition of value in this great mid-coast location. We usually stay in the comfortable and clean "cottage rooms" and appreciate the Sondra's expanded breakfast menu. Wiscasset Woods Lodge is close to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, shopping and dining in Wiscasset, Bath and Boothbay Harbor, and tourist destinations like the Owl's Head Transportation Museum. Bowdoin College in nearby Brunswick, Maine is a great venue for cultural programming. And be sure to have lunch at the Wild Oats Bakery & Cafe while in Brunswick. Wiscasset Woods Lodge location makes it easy to visit the many local fairs up and down the mid-coast. If visiting in September, be sure to catch the The Common Ground Country Fair in Unity, Maine which is a little over an hour's drive from the lodge. We "love the lodge" and recommend it to everyone thinking of a Maine adventure.
