Friendly welcome, clean room, beautiful gardens, quiet lakefront. Miss having a small breakfast in the place we sleep. Checkout friendly and easy. Nearby dined at Salt and Pepper, excellent meat loaf dinner.

Fairfield Inn
This Inn was one of few available and at a somewhat reasonable price. Had the weather been more conducive and I had more time available there were other amenities available. Location is somewhat remote, but that adds to the beauty and available amenities ( swimming, canoeing, fishing, camp fires, etc. Beds and linen were very good and the personal shower made the small shower stall more convenient. Would have appreciated a Sr. or Veteran discount.

Our family had a wonderful vacation stay at Wilson Lake Inn. Of the four lodgings we visited on our trip from the DC area, this was our favorite by far. We rented the two-bedroom suite, with its private porch overlooking the expansive green at the back of the property. Our teenage sons went out on the lake, first in the kayaks and then in the canoe, and were truly mesmerized by the beauty and quiet out on the water as the sun went down. The rooms were dark and quiet, the air conditioning was efficient, the kitchen was a real asset, the fixtures and furniture created a very nice atmosphere. Next time we will definitely stay longer, grill out back, spend lots more time on the water, and simply revel in the tranquility. Many thanks to the very friendly staff (we received freshly ground coffee when we checked in!). It was such a lovely visit.

Stayed here for a snowmobile trip with my family, had some issues and the owner was absolutely amazing! Went out of his way to get us taken care of. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. The place was clean and updated and everyone was so friendly. Can't wait to come back.
I’ve stayed at Wilson Lake Inn many times, most recently in March of 2022. I usually choose a first floor studio, which enables me to make a few meals, to save going to a restaurant all the time. The room is always sparkling clean and well-equipped with dishes, silverware, cookware, coffeemaker, and toaster. The beds are comfortable, which is very important to me. A self-service laundry is in a building across the parking lot. The owners and staff are pleasant and helpful. And you can’t beat the beautiful, tranquil setting in any season!
