We are currently here on vacation, this place does not offer any modern ammenities. The bathroom is small, clean and small (I hit my head on the showerhead twice this morning. I am only 5'10". We are staying in a 2 bedroom "suite". There are two bedrooms, but it is more like an efficiency apartment. Small refrigerator, with an even smaller freezer. Sink with a cabinet above, it has a small supply of dishes which is more than expected. The beds are horrible, feel like they are slanted down and extremely bouncy. The pull out couch was torn and the mattress falls through to the floor. They serve breakfast in a little corner cabin on their grounds, but breakfast consists of bread/bagels/English muffin bags strewn all over, bad coffee and cold cereal. The only bright spot was the donuts. Supposedly have WiFi, can't locate a server on any of our devices. It isn't that close to the beach, and if you aren't familiar with the area it is difficult to find. I will not stay here again.

First of all, the pictures make this place look much nicer than it really is. Our room was old and smelled overwhelmingly of some sort of cleaning product.. made us wonder what they were trying to cover up. We could hardly breathe from the fumes. Everything was just old and dirty looking, and the bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. The only door to the room was a sliding glass door with a flimsy lock. I did not feel very secure. They have wifi but we could not get it in our room, and when asked, the person at the office said they do not guarantee every room will have it. I guess I am not too surprised about these things given the price... but here is the kicker...

We were outside using a grill. It was on a single propane tank and had wheels, totally unattached from anything. We moved it about 5 feet to get it closer to our table. There were no signs saying not to move it, nor did anyone or anything say this. After about a half hour of using the grill, a guy in a golf cart (maintenance guy I assume) drove up, smelling of alcohol, and immediately started yelling at us and asking why we thought we were entitled to move the grill. He insulted our common sense and was INCREDIBLY rude. He then realized he forgot that the grill was not on a single line of propane connected to the other grills. I am absolutely appalled at his behavior. We would have left right then and there if we hadn't already paid. Not only is it bad enough to verbally attack us, (paying customers) for doing something that we didn't realize we apparently weren't supposed to do... he did so in front of our small daughter.

After this experience, we will NEVER stay at this place again. I would rather pay more money to be comfortable and feel more welcome.

We have been there 3 times and already booked a week in July/august. The trolley turns around right in this parking lot. One goes north(Kennebunk) the other south,(Ogunquit). They have nice new grills to cook on, 5 I believe. Nice pool area. Not a 4 seasons but it has everything you need for a great Family vacation. We went by there over the winter and it looks like they're updating the rooms.
Unless your one of those snooty people, this is the place to stay. If you only like to complain don't stay here, like I said, it's NOT the Park Plaza. It's just a great place for great people. I hope they have the same help as last year. SEE YOU GUYS SOON......

Room Tip: Get a room on bottom floor so when you sit outside your view won't be blocked by the railing.

We stayed only one night it was cheep but old. It was off season so not much was open. They have several grills for use a fire pit and pool. Could be good family fun in the summer. Room was old and in need of some TLC but it was very clean. It fit our needs for a cheep one night stay.
