My wife and two children stayed here in July. We lived in southern Maine for ten years back in the 80's and 90's and we know the area well, but we'd never looked at this resort before. Our mistake. Right off Route 1, minutes from Ogunquit, York and Kennebunkport, it's convenient to everything the area has to offer. And a sand beach! is just a short walk away. Kids loved the play area and pool. We loved the grills, benches and set ups for cooking local lobsters. We all loved the clean room with the small, kitchen-like area. This place is basic, but everything about it was spotless and well-maintained. The owners obviously care about their resort and the well-being of their guests and it shows. If you have children and you're going to southern Maine look into Ne'r Beach. You won't be disappointed.

This motel is well run. The pool is a plus when not wanting to into the cold ocean or crowded Ogunquit beaches. Far walk to the beach for me so I drove and parked conveniently near the beach. My spacious room was clean and freshly painted. Bathroom was also clean. Motel was close to a great breakfast location. Friendly staff. I had a very nice stay and the location was ideal to drive to the near restaurants and towns near by.

We have visited Ne'r Beach Motel every other year, sometimes twice because of the friendly welcome, the nice cool breezes and family atmosphere but couples are welcome too. A moderate size pool is central to the layout and dogs are allowed in certain areas but they are never heard or intrusive. There are well kept shuffle board games, sparkling grills for anybody to cook on with a few picnic tables. The rooms range from single rooms to apartments. The avante guard clubs and bars of Ogunquit are nearby. In the morning venture up to the local hot spot for the best donuts in the world congons!.....and further up the road is the blue dinner featured on Today. But Ogunquit is the spot for Bread and Roses Bakery, the very highest quality depravity and coffee going......rise up Bernie Sanders fans, yes the bakery is named after THAT Bed and Roses revolt in Massachusetts

Room tip: Some rooms have kitchens and some have screened porches.....all rooms are super clean. We are returning in two weeks.

Thank you for your review of our motel! We're always working hard around the property to maintain an enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere for our guests. This year we added a new griddle to our cook-out area and we are hoping to make some improvements to the children's area for the season to come.

We hope you'll enjoy these improvements during your next visit and we look forward to having you back!

I liked the fact they have working propane grills with everything you would need to cook a meal. The pool is heated and kept clean. The room I was in had a new bed and fresh bedding. The entire place is very clean and quiet. My bathroom was modern and spotless.Room has heat and air conditioning (not every motel does) I would come back!

Room tip: All rooms have screen doors so you can hear the birds chirping !!

Recently sold my home, "homeless" for a few weeks. Found this gem online. What a lovely place to come. The staff made me feel like family. Booked for 11 nights. Extremely clean, quiet and many extras.
