We have used the Waterville Fireside Inn for years for midway overnight for salmon trios to and from Canada. It's impeccably clean, very comfortable and staff very friendly and accomodating. Much homier feel than bigger national chains which we appreciate. Bonus is it's attached to Governors Restaurant, a nice family restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. The Inn also provides a nice continental breakfast. Nice Maine hospitality all around and has become a pleasant part or our salmon trip tradition!

We were staying here at night while attending the Common Ground Country Fair in Unity. Though somewhat outdated, the room was a good size, very clean throughout and the bed very comfortable. Surprisingly, right off I-95, the room was also quiet on the highway side of the facility. We slept well! Nice hot showers.

Clean, Friendly, Accommodating…
Arrived a day early and they were able to get us in a room. Continental Breakfast was perfect and if you need a bit more there is Governers. Love the new maid service keeps everyone safe and healthy.

This is a great place to stay staff is awesome folks,they have help me every way . I will stay here again if I make it back up here. The cleaning staff are top notch they take pride in there work . This just a best hotel that I have been to in awhile.

We stay here every time we are in town and have for many years. The rooms are very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy having Governor's restaurant attached to the hotel - great food and desserts!
