I stayed here again in the summer and loved it even more. The house has a lot of New England charm, is very well appointed with new furnishings, amazing linens, brand new kayaks, gorgeous remodeled kitchen with pretty much everything I needed to cook, and nice bathrooms all overlooking a sheltered ocean cove. Every window looks out on the ocean and across at green hills and cute New England homes and lobster wharf. It's on a little island connected by a road and very private with only a few other homes. The beds seemed brand new and were super comfy with ocean themed bedrooms and crisp fun linens. It is right on the water and has its own dock over the water with plenty of outdoor furniture, a great BBQ, fire pit right on the water and is in walking/bike distance from McCloons Lobster shack, Lobster Lane Bookstore and Mussel Ridge Market/restaurant. So close to Rockland, Tenants Harbor, Camden, etc. I'll be visiting here again as soon as I can. Just lovely and I highly recommend.
I have stayed at this property a couple of times now and I can't seem to get enough. The house itself is tucked away down an apple-tree lined lane with ocean on all sides, then down to the water of a secluded ocean cove. The house itself is cozy with views of the water from every room and huge dock attached. Two bedrooms are quite large and comfortable with new beds and bedding, fun furniture. The third bedroom is a little smaller but the view are exceptional. Both bathrooms are updated and one has a river rock shower and full sized washer and dryer, which is cool. Theres a little breakfast room off the remodeled kitchen that sits directly over the dock. Truly amazing. Huge TV in the quaint living room with new sofa and furnishings. The house is on a little island (connected by a road) with maybe 4 other houses so it's fun to explore the property itself with grass areas, forest, beaches. It's very close to Owls Head, Rockland, Tenants Harbor and Camden and within minutes to like 4 lighthouses. There's a great general store 60 seconds aways that serves breakfast lunch and dinner as well as the famous McLoons Lobster shack a short bike ride away. Kayaks, bikes, canoe. Honestly, this place is a delight. I will return as often as possible.
