Sue was so sweet and made every effort to make our stay wonderful. Chef AJ's breakfasts and dinners were extremely delicious and top notch. We stayed for a few days before our wedding, and each day got better and better. The bedroom was beautiful and comfortable. The views are wonderful! The best day was our wedding day. Sue catered to our every need. She wanted to make our day special, and she definitely surpassed our expectations. It wasn't stressful at all. She only does one wedding a day, so she gets to "spoil" the couple, and she does it very well. Granted, we paid for the diamond elopement package, but it was worth every penny. I can't wait to go back for another special occasion.

Room Tip: Every room is private and has a wonderful views! There isn't a bad room in the house.

What a beautiful wedding day with a most memorable couple. Your custom ceremony was amazing and I was honored to officiate for such a lovely couple. I have been so fortunate to work with the most wonderful couples and I truly enjoy each and every wedding. I am so glad you were happy with the inn and your wedding day. We hope to see you for your anniversary!

In a word, yes! The warmth of our reception when we arrived was, hard to believe, even warmer than before - showing the genuine hospitality of all the staff at the inn. Our room had a gorgeous view of the lake, which was enshrouded in fog when we woke up, and then lifted to show the far shore painted with multiple fall colors of various intensity. The innkeepers, Sue and Roy, have updated the grounds to include a fire pit which was tempting; others enjoyed it each night we were there. There was a small wedding at the inn and we could see the effort and the heart that both Sue and Roy put into it. This is a special destination - worth a detour as the Michelin Green Guide would say.

Room Tip: Check out the photos online; they'll give you a good idea.

Thank you so much for staying with us again and for your kind words. It was still quite beautiful on the lake given the waning days of foliage season, and we are happy you stayed with us to celebrate your anniversary. (We hope it becomes a tradition). Hope to see you again.

We were in Maine for several days for family funeral. We were happy to be able to get a room. Though we didn't have a lot of time to just sit and enjoy the comfort and beauty, it was good to know we could come back to a great place. Roy and Sue were very accommodating and the staff were great. The rooms were nicely done and very clean. The public areas inside were very nice and the food was great. We hope to visit again to enjoy all its beauty. I would recommend to anyone.

Went there for my son and daughter in law's wedding. You can't find a more beautiful place. Sue and her staff did an excellent job and no detail was over looked. They are dog friendly that allowed us to bring our dog. They provided pet sitting during the ceremony and reception and then we were able to sit on the porch with our dog and enjoy a bottle of Chardonnay from a small but nice wine list.

Beautiful views of the lake.

Just, just could not have been more perfect.

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view, you won't go wrong

Thank you for your great review. We thoroughly enjoy the intimate weddings held at the inn and we enjoyed the opportunity to get to know you a bit during your stay, The wedding itself was so much fun and the couple looked so happy. We couldn't have asked for anything else!

We have been guests at Wolf Cove almost from the beginning of Sue and Roy's tenure as owners and this beautiful, well-appointed property get gets better and better. The setting on Tripp Lake is gorgeous and benefits from sunsets across the water. Roy's breakfasts are always a treat and feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The rooms are comfortable and the bed linens rival those of a Four Seasons. Of value to us (as owners of a travel-friendly yellow lab) is that they have a couple of rooms set aside for folks with well-behaved canines. We would definitely recommend this Inn - it is one of the finest in North America.
