“Quiet Generous Excellence”

At the Gazebo Inn you will find across the board excellence. Beautiful, quality linens, a wide array of breakfast items - all delicious. Clean, exquisitely decorated rooms. High quality mattresses. Delightful thoughtful touches, robes, scones, chocolates. Terrific coffee. Scott, Bruce, Peter, Charles and any of the staff you meet are available, helpful, kind and easy going. We have been staying with Scott Bruce and Peter for the past four years now - all their properties are consistently excellent and the gentlemen themselves amazing hosts. They seem to appear just when you need them and yet provide an environment of quiet privacy. we've traveled a great deal and you just don't get better. Virginia Johns.

Room Tip: you can't go wrong with any room but our favorite is House Suite 10. the bathroom is like a smal...

We chose the Gazebo Inn randomly off of bedandbreakfast.com to get away (kid-free!) for one night. It was A-mazing. Attention is paid to every bitty detail in this place, from locally crafted furniture throughout, to the lovely and personal food and service at breakfast. We went out to dinner at Perkins Cove (it is a short drive, but you could easily walk to the downtown area from the inn), and returned late to hang out and watch a movie in our room. There was too much to do just at the inn for us to feel like we got the most of it in our one night. WHEN we return for another, we will take in the enormous and wonderfully maintained hot tub, spa, byob lounge area, and, well, the gazebo. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Although this was not an issue for us, you might choose to ask for a room that is not road-side so a...

My bride and I absolutely loved our stay at Gazebo Inn this past April for our honeymoon. Scott, Bruce, and Peter were such gracious hosts. Not only was the breakfast delicious and the room fantastic, the folks at Gazebo Inn went above and beyond in making us feel totally welcome. We had the best honeymoon in Ogunquit because of these guys. We stayed in Barn Suite 3 and would love to come back in a few years for an anniversary. If you want to see Maine, stay with these guys--you will not regret it!

Room Tip: Barn Suite 3 is incredible. Body jets in the shower. Hot tub. Perfect for honeymooners.

It was our first time to Maine and both Peter and Scott were very gracious hosts, always willing to help out or answer any of our questions. The B&B is very tastefully decorated, both modern and warm and inviting. We stayed in one of the King Suites as well as the Barn Suites. Definitely recommend the barn suites for greater amenities (including the amazing two person jacuzzi tub, steam shower and sound system). The scones at breakfast were just as amazing as everyone has said, but in all honesty the rest of the breakfast buffet was only ok in our opinion (compared to some of the other top rated B&B's we have stayed at). And the fruit salad some mornings seemed like it had been out a little too long. Sound proofing in the King Suite could have been a little better as we could always hearing banging noises next door and the sound of people walking/talking on the outside balcony area. These small complaints aside, we'd still highly recommend this B&B for the lovely suites, gracious/helpful hosts, and excellent location to many sights and restaurants in this lovely town.

Stayed here just one night for the hubby's birthday and boy do I wish I could've spent much longer! I have never stayed anywhere else in the world where I truly felt that the owners and manager LOVED what they do. They were always friendly, extremely helpful, and very proud of their inn and the service they provide. They have developed the art of reading people (their guests) and know which ones want to sit and chat for hours and which would like a friendly greeting but then be left alone. This is very rare in a B&B experience. I agree with all the other glowing reviews about the cleanliness, amenities, and attention to detail at this inn. Our room (Barn Suite 4) was tastefully renovated and had the most amazing bed and shower. We were enthralled with the hot tub because even with 2 other groups of people we had our privacy thanks to a unique design. Oh yeah...and the scones are amazing...and that's coming from someone who usually passes on the typical dry tasteless scone. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: If you can afford a barn suite DO IT! Barn Suite 5 has the best location on the top floor all by it...
