It's somebody's basement turned into a bar. It's dark, the menu is limited, the food isn't very good, and our server seemed unfamiliar with either the menu or beverage selection. I don't really see us going back again.

We've been by here multiple times on trips to Maine and didn't think much of it. It looks kind of like someone's house. We never bothered to go in. This time, we were staying next door, so we decided to go grab a drink there rather than sit in our hotel room at the end of the day. The bartender was very friendly and the beers were a pleasant surprise (and they had some good stuff in addition to their own tap.) We had a flatbread which was pretty okay, but didn't have any other food (had done a late lunch so weren't very hungry.) We will certainly stop in again if we stay at one of the nearby hotels on our next trip.

We stopped in for a drink on our way back to our room - owners were in working and stopped to chat with us - gave us awesome information on surrounding attractions and other near by city's to visit. Food was very good and staff was wonderful.

Really interesting beer selection, several in-house brews to choose from, and a few other local taps as well. General pub fare for food, nothing too fancy but it's all done right. They understaff on the off-season or on weeknights in-season, so it can be slow.

They have a great choice of craft beers and their burgers are delicious as are the fresh cut fries they come with. On wednesday night they have trivia night which is a lot fun and consistent of 6 parts. A must try!!!
