“Best Cliffside Walk in Maine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2012

This walk is not to be missed! It is a fairly easy paved walkway with bannisters on most of the walk. There are benches and places to pause and admire the breathtaking view. It may be rough going for people using assistive walking devices because there are breaks in the pavement with gravel in between the slabs. I saw a variety of ages enjoying the walk! I would suggest this to anyone visitign Ogunquit!

“Walk the Marginal Way you won't regret it!”

Views are to die for!! Loads of benches, with breath taking views, to rest on as you walk. If you do one thing in Ogunquit. Take this walk. You can understand why they preserve it so well.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2012

This walk is not too long but long enough for great exercise, smell the ocean and view the beautiful scenery. The walk may be too long for people with a handicap, elderly, young children, etc., though. So, the best place for all to start is at Perkins Cove so some could walk part of it and turn back. The walkway is very well maintained and there are benches all along the way for people to sit to rest and enjoy the view. If you start out on the Perkins Cove side, you will end at the shops and restaurants. Get something to eat and/or drink and then walk back the same way or walk on the street to your car. Too tired? Grab the trolley to take you back to the cove.

“Great walk! Short but don't miss it.”

Along the ocean with beautiful resting spots on the natural rocks or on a park bench. Shade in some spots and don't forget a bottle of water and a few dollars or spare change to contribute to the lighthouse structure dedicated to preserving the conservatory land.
