I took my daughter and my almost-daughter out to dinner to celebrate my almost-daughter's 21st birthday. She ordered a delicious 'sugar cookie' cocktail and I had their porter - very good. At the table, we had the bruschetta, mozzarella sticks, veggie burger, veggie chili, cornbread, and the chicken pesto sandwich. All were excellent and the fries that came with the meals were very tasty! It was quite busy on a Wednesday evening - the bar area can be quite loud - but it is also a fun atmosphere. They have changed the layout under new ownership. I LOVE the 2 stalls in the restroom - and the dining area was expanded and seems more open. Always a good, solid meal with portions big enough for lunch the next day!!!!!

I tried every one of Bray's home brews and then settled for water. The beers were bad by any standard. Some were flat, some were tasteless, some were sickly sweet. The food was also average but at least you could eat it. The place also takes pride on its lively atmosphere, so come prepared for noise. Better yet, head to Portland. It's less than 30 minutes away.

First time visit w/ another couple on a Thursday evening end of Sept 2017. Only five miles from our rental at the Point Sebago Resort. Note: Bray's Brewery is here, but signage says that it's the "historic" Gary's Old Towne Tavern". Sat at the bar and tried the house beers. Many taps and styles offered. This place is deceivingly large w/ as much square footage outside as inside. This place must really hop in the summer months. Good value pub grub. And the pizza is quite good and popular. There's a pizza club card and pizza specials on Mon/Tue. A friendly place with a friendly, but harried staff. Definitely worth another visit.

Thank napngs
