When we arrived at night in a rainstorm, we found the lot was packed by guests at a wedding reception. There is no designated spot to park your car to checkin and unload bags--that needs to be improved.
The hotel is grand and the staff very accommodating. We were taken to our floor by an ancient elevator driven only by staff. Except for check out, we hoofed it four flights for the balance of our stay. The new elevator is almost installed, but didn't make its debut for our stay. Rooms are really pretty and well appointed, but the walls are pretty thin.
Breakfast is a treat at this hotel, so make sure it is included with your stay!
Great place with more pluses than minuses--they can be ironed out with some ingenuity by the owners.More
