“Has it all”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

Walk along the beautiful Casco Bay, wander along well marked trails into the woods. Be careful. There are porcupines. Dogs should be kept on leashes. Rocky tidal shore lends nice ledges for picnic perches. There are areas for groups and also park restrooms. Nothing fancy. It's easy accessibility to Freeport sometimes allows for many visitors on weekends.

“Great views of the Casco Bay”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

Nice small park straddling the peninsula, with superb ocean views on both sides. Fairly level, so easy going.

“Great Park - experience the real Maine coast”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

We try to get to Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park every time we go to Freeport. There are many hiking trails - not too difficult - along the rock bound coast of Maine. A great viewing of Ospreys is a highlight, as well as access down to the rocks. This is a great diversion from/alternative to the commercial center of town.
